Loan Officer II |

The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority, a public corporation of the State of Alaska, is recruiting for the position of Loan Officer II. The position is a Range 24, full-time, permanent, and includes the state employee benefits package. This position is located in Anchorage. Duties include underwriting applications for loan participation or loan guarantees under AIDEA’s credit programs and administering the Alaska Energy Authority Power Project Fund loan program. Applicant must possess knowledge of all aspects of credit, financial statement analysis, real estate appraisal review and loan portfolio management; knowledge of loan documentation, Uniform Commercial Code, Collection laws,
Bankruptcy Code and real estate and commercial business transactions.
Minimum qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or finance, or equivalent experience as a loan officer or related field for a minimum of five (5) years. Skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and calculator proficiency are required, as well as good written and verbal communication. Position Description

The Alaska Energy Authority, a public corporation of the State of Alaska, is recruiting for a full-time, temporary, summer Intern to help with the Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency Inventory program. This position is for a college student seeking a Bachelor’s degree, and requires experience in GIS and mapping. Applicant must have an eagerness to learn, a demonstrated ability to work independently, and have an enthusiasm for energy programs in Alaska. This internship is expected to be for the duration of the college summer break; start and end dates are negotiable. Preference will be given to students at Alaskan higher learning institutions and Alaskan students at schools outside the state. The position’s salary is $12-$15 per hour and is located in Anchorage.

This position requires a college student of engineering, project management or construction management, seeking a post secondary degree. The applicant must show an eagerness to learn about rural energy infrastructure construction. This internship is expected to be for the duration of the college summer break; start and end dates are negotiable. Preference will be given to students at Alaskan higher learning institutions and Alaskan students at schools outside the state. The position’s salary is $12-$15 per hour and is located in Anchorage.
