Tim Sandstrom, PMP Director, Rural Programs Tim Sandstrom is the director of rural programs at the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA). He has been with AEA since 2000, and previously served as an assistant project manager.
Sandstrom oversees AEA’s Rural Power System Upgrade, Bulk Fuel Upgrade, Circuit Rider, Emergency Response, and Training Programs. As a member of the senior management team, he is also responsible for implementation of AEA’s strategy and budget management for his programs.
With over 35-years in construction, project management, and engineering project management throughout Alaska, Sandstrom brings a broad range of private sector experience to his work.
Outside of work Sandstrom enjoys the Alaskan outdoors, photography, Jiu-Jitsu, and reading.
