Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Alaska-Yukon Wood Energy Conference scheduled to take place September 29-30, 2020 in Whitehorse, Yukon has been postponed. The 2019 Alaska–Yukon Wood Energy Conference held on April 15-18, 2019 in Fairbanks, Alaska, was a success with over 100 participants from across the United States and Canada. In addition to two days of presentations and networking, the conference included tours of operating facilities and an engineering design course on hydronic heating taught by world-renown author and technical expert John Siegenthaler.
